Information from the Town of Oakville follows:
As you know, after extensive public consultation, Council approved a traditional theme for the downtown streetscape design this past October. Now we need your help choosing the actual pieces, as well a few other things, as part of the Lakeshore Road Reconstruction and Streetscape Project.
Between now and December 23, please check out our photo library online and tell us what you think about…
- Traditional streetscape furniture pieces
- Lighting (LED bulbs) for the streetlight poles (3000K or 4000K)
- Railing for the Lakeshore Road Bridge over Sixteen Mile Creek
- Flexible/curbless streets

Before you go online, you can check out samples of the bench, bike ring, and bollard on display in Towne Square. In addition, the LED fixtures (3000K and 4000K) are installed in the streetlight poles along Lakeshore Road between Navy Street and Thomas Street so you can see the difference. The south side has 3000K fixtures, the north side 4000k.
Please forward this message to your members and if you have any questions, feel to contact me or Adam Kiley (905-845-6601, ext.3357 firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will do our best to help you out.
